Jacob McDonald, LCPC

I began my journey in the mental health field over seven years ago, working in psychiatric rehabilitation programs as both direct support staff and a site supervisor. This early experience gave me valuable insight into supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs and set the foundation for my career as a therapist.

Over the years, I’ve pursued extensive training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling to other countries, teaching historical fencing, and spending quality time with my loved ones.

As someone who has been diagnosed with OCD and ADHD, I understand the challenges of living with OCD and neurodivergence on a personal level. This experience has driven me to make it my life’s purpose to help others manage and thrive despite their mental health conditions or human struggles.
